1. Karivaradarajar temple in Nerkundram :-
This temple is in Poonamallee High Road before Maduravoyal.
Main deity is Varadaraja Perumal. when seeing perumal, his eyes will be in closed posture. After closing the sannadhi main door, Gurukal will light campher and show it near perumal face, then we can see the wonder that Perumal slowly opened his eyes which is rare sight.
This is one of motcha sthalam for Gajendran elephant which was saved by Perumal from crocodile. Here Perumal saved both elephant and crocodile. Perumal 5.5 Ft height and 1500 yrs old deity. Temple is 400 yrs old.
2. Nemam Aavundeeswarar, Amirthambigai temple is between Thirumazhisai and Tiruvallur route. (In Chennai - Bangalore highway, after Poonamallee, highway turning right towards Tirupathi). Sivan here saved cows and hence this name. Cow leg mark can be seen over sivalingam. Ambal in head slanting posture and her one leg towards front away from other leg. Solving problems related to wedding, child birth, family troubles.
3. Thirumazhisai Jagannatha Perumal (After Poonamallee). Thirumazhisai Azhwar birth place. Sudarsana Chakram behind Azhwar sannadhi. There is eye in leg thumb of Azhwar.
4. Ezhuchur Nallinangeeswarar, Deivanayaghi temple, 3KM from Oragadam (Singaperumal koil - Sri Perumbudur route). 3000 yrs old temple, Sun God made temple tank, siddhars and Maharishies done puja here. Family issues get solved here. Nandhi statue special. Sthala trees are Vilwam tree, Female palm tree, Aer Azhinjal tree (seeds after falling from tree will fly and joined with tree trunk) and Kallala tree (Dhakshinamoorthy sitting under this tree to give upadesam to 4 Tharugavana Rishies). At village border, there is very ancient neem tree in which snake stayed. The snake will come to temple early morning and done puja to Lingam. Abishega Vibudhi is special here.
5. Damal in Bangalore highway after Kancheepuram entrance. There are two famous temples here, one for Sivan and other for Perumal. Damodara Perumal, Thirumal Azhagi temple - Moolavar having rope mark in stomach which is tied by Yasoda. Kannan having Gopi Chandan Alangaram.
Damal Sivan temple - Varaha Easwaran, Sornambigai. Kethu Parihara Sthalam, Chola period temple, Elephant before Ambal sannadhi (Normally Simmam will be there). Main deity Lingam having snake roopam on it and also Sudarshana Chakram and Sangu on it. Varahamoorthy done puja here. Vishnu and Sivan joined Lingam roopam. Sun and Moon Eclipse can be seen over main door of moolavar sannadhi. Ashta (Eight) Bhairavars available on pillars at outer Praharam. Two face Bhairavar in a separate sannadhi.
6. Pallur Varahi temple located in Kancheepuram - Arakonam route after Thirumalpur Rly station. Separate temple for Varahi Amman. Problems related to wedding, family issues, job related issues, etc will get solved.
7. Kannur in Araivakkam village located at 7 KM from Sunguwarchatram towards Mappedu route. Mukeswarar, Maragathambigai temple, Square shape lingam, Suyambu lingam, Varaha shape in lingam, Kannuva maharishi and Agasthiyar done puja here. Statues are beautiful.
8. Kizhambi located in Kanchi - Mosaravakkam route towards Vellore and opposite to Krishna Arts & Science college. Ambigabatheeswarar, Kamatchi temple, 1000 yrs old, Moon done puja here, Kambar prayed here and got Ambigapathy as son. Hence Lord named Ambigabatheeswarar. Staues in Mandapam are beautiful.
9. Thodukadu located at 3 Km from Sriperumbudur towards Tiruvallur. Bheemeswara, Nagamugavalli temple. One of Nayanmargal "Iyadigal Kadavarkon" prayed here. Astrology born place. Nalayini taken bath in temple tank and done puja here. There are 3 Nandhi one behind other before Moolavar sannadhi.

11. Manamathi located between Uthiramerur and Kanchi route. Vanasundareswarar, Perianayagi temple. 1200 years old.
12. Perunagar near Manamathi. Brahmapureeswarar, Pattu Vadanambigai temple. Ancient siva temple maintained by ASI. Gajaprushta Vimanam. sannadhi for Lakshmi Devi sister.
13. Koozhamandal at 20KM from Kanchi - Vandavasi route. Pesum Perumal, giagantic and beautiful. Prarthana sthalam. Small temple with single shrine. One more Siva temple nearby constructed by Guru of 1st Rajendra Chola king. Big Sivalingam.
14. Ukkal located at 2.5 KM east of above temple. Vaithyanathar, Maragathambigai temple. 1200 yrs old. Prarthana Sthalam.
15. Akkur at 4 KM west of Pesum Perumal temple. Ambujavalli Nayika Lakshmi Narayanar temple, as holy as "Tirumala" temple. Small and beautiful ancient temple. Krishna Vigraham having 4 hands, Changu & Chakaram on 2 hands which is rare sight.
16. Kuranganilmuttam located at 8 KM south west of Kanchi, near Dusi village. Valleswarar, Ilaiyaravalaiammai temple. Out of 275 sacred siva temples glorified by Devara Hymes, Suyambu lingam. Vali as 'monkey', Indra as 'squirrel' and Yama as 'crow' (muttam) worshipped here and hence this name. Elandhi as sthala viruksham.
17. Thirupanangkadu at 10 KM from Kanchi in Cheyyar route. Thalapureesar (Panangatheeswarar), Amirthavalli prayed by Agasthiar and Kripanathar, Kripanayagi prayed by Pulasthiar. Suyambu lingam and one of 275 sacred siva temples. Two moolavar sannadhi with Dwajasthamba for each. Gajaprustavimanam. This place had full of palm trees and hence this name. Siva offered food and water to Sundarar here. Prarthana sthalam. Jada gangai and sundarar theertham. Even today 3 ft water level at sundara theertham. Palm fruit puja special here. Statues are beautiful.
18. Thiruvothur located at 28 KM from Kanchi towards Cheyyar route (At Cheyyar town). Vedhapureeswarar, Balagujambigai (Elamula Nayaki) temple. Suyambu lingam, one of 275 sacred siva temples, Gnanasambandar prayed here. Male palm tree becomes female palm tree here. Nandhi facing outside instead of Moolavar, as in ready position to save Thondaiman king in war. Siva preached meaning of 'vedas' to Devas and Sages here and hence this name. Mahavishnu worshipped siva and got back sudarshana chakra here. Adi Kesava Perumal. Cheyyar & Kalayana Theertham. Palm tree as sthala viruksham.
19. Veera Anjaneyar temple near Kasfa in Ambur (40 KM from Vellore in Bangalore highway). Main temple tower over moolavar sannadhi. Suyambu murthy 12 ft height, saneeswarar below Anjaneyar feet. Sthupam in front of moolavar sannadhi is famous for prarthana deepam. Whenever deepam lighted here, Gauda will fly over sthupam which significants our prathana will fulfilled by God. From here at 5th KM in Anaimadugu village, right feet of Anjaneyar can be seen.
20. Naganathaswamy, Samayavalli Amman temple near Ambur market. Built by Kulothunga Chola king. Suyambu lingam. Snakes protected lingam. Raghu, Kethu parihara sthalam. 3 lingams, margapandeesar, Naganathar, Kalahastheesar. Pradosa sivan very ancient. Abhayahastha Dakshinamoorthy. Durga statue very beautiful. Lakshmi Narasimhar with smiling face. 2 bhairavars in a single sannadhi (Kala Bhairavar, Asithanga Bhairavar). Navagraha corner special.
21. Bhindu Madhava Perumal temple at Thuthipattu in Ambur. Next to Kasi kshetram. Andal statue made b Thuthipattu in Ambur. Next to Kasi kshetram. Andal statue made before birth of Andal. Perumal facing Esaniya Moolai.

22. Oottal at 20 KM from above perumal temple. krishnar, Saraswathi temples. Sapthkanniar sannadhi at a small hill behind. Nandhi statue is very big and rock also becomes Nandhi. Temple tank having water in all seasons and water coming from mountain, the route of which not known. This water cures all skin deseases.
23. Thiruvalam near Katpadi. Vilwanatheswar, Viwambigai temple. 1008 Lingams in this temple. Vinayagar, Danumathyambigai, Ashta Lakshmi sannadhi special. Big and beautiful Nandhi.
24. Melpadi at 1.2 KM from above temple towards Ponnai route. Somanathar temple maintained by ASI. temple closes at 6 PM.
25. Nagathamman temple in Mylapore (Mosque street) below very old tree. Tree itself formed as 5 face snake over moolavar sannadhi.
